Our Counselors

At Open Arms Counseling Center, our counselors are here to help. For those that suffer from trauma, depression, troubled relationships, addiction, anxiety, mood and eating disorders, grief, and more, our goal is to ensure a positive outcome for every person. We welcome you with open arms.

Linda Ritch

Linda Ritch, MA, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that believes each individual has unique needs and deserves an individual plan. Linda is also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, as well as The Gottman Method for couples. She completed her undergraduate education (B.A. Business Management) at St. Leo University, and graduate education (M.A. Professional Clinical Mental Health Counseling) at Liberty University. Linda is a retired military spouse, wife, mother and daughter that listens with an open mind to those going through difficult times. 

Amy Foss

Amy Foss, MA, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor certified in TBRI and Trauma, and is an Adoption Competent Therapist. Approaches include DBT, CBT and ACT modalities. She completed both her undergraduate (B.S. Psychology:Christian Counseling) and (M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling) at Liberty University. Known for her direct yet kind approach coupled with a well timed sense of humor, Amy creates a safe and authentic environment where clients feel both challenged and supported. She works with adolescents through late adulthood to help process past wounds, strengthen identity, and to foster moving toward a more connected and purposeful life. She believes that transformation is possible and hope is never out of reach.

Jessica Atkins

Jessica Atkins, MA, is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, as well as trained in The Gottman Method Level 1 for couples.  Jessica completed her undergraduate (B.S. Marketing) at the University of Florida and graduate (M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling) at Rollins College. A former military wife and mother of five, she brings personal and professional experience to her clients. Jessica is passionate about supporting others toward healing and personal growth. 

Morgan Mahaffey

Morgan Mahaffey, MA, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma. Morgan is experienced in helping children, adolescents and adults of all ages through depression, anxiety, singleness, relationship issues, abuse and career changes. Morgan completed her undergraduate (B.A. English) at University of Maryland, and graduate (M.A. Counseling) at Covenant Theological Seminary.
